Terms of Service

By playing Backgammon Pearl you agree to these terms. We have tried to keep them short.
There is nothing to buy and nothing to win. Backgammon Pearl has no chips, no coins and no in-app purchases. Your rating is a record of play and has no monetary value. This is not a gambling service and involves no real-money betting.
Your account
An account is created automatically without signup and is tied to a secret key stored on your device. You may link it to a Google account (or on iPhone an Apple account) so it can follow you to another device. If you have not linked it and you uninstall the app, clear your device data or lose the device, that key is lost and you may permanently lose access to the account.
You may not transfer or sell your account.
Fair play
You may not modify the game or server, use automation or bots, collude with another player to manipulate a game, play multiple accounts at the same table, or exploit bugs. If we detect any of this we may restrict or close the account.
Your nickname may not be abusive, hateful, or impersonate someone else.
The dice
Every game's dice are sealed before the first roll and the seed is revealed when the game ends, so that you can recompute every roll yourself with the checker on this site. If a check ever fails, write to us with the seeds; we want to know.
Table chat
Table chat has a zero-tolerance rule: insults, hate speech, harassment, spam and any attempt at fraud are forbidden. Links, phone numbers and similar contact details cannot be sent at all; profanity is masked automatically. You can report any message, and block or mute its sender; a blocked player's messages never reach you again. We review reports and may suspend an account's chat, for a period or permanently. Play itself is not affected.
Ads
The game is free and is funded by ads shown after a game or a match ends. Where the law requires it, consent for personalised ads is asked separately, and you may refuse it.
Availability
We may update the game, change features, or discontinue the service. If we shut the service down entirely we will try to give reasonable notice in the game beforehand.
Liability
The game is provided "as is". We cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
